TÚS NUA LAWN & LANDSCAPE had its roots planted several years ago by the owners Grandmother, Evelyn Ballard. Loving all things nature, Evelyn instilled the same love of plants and animals in her grandchildren. Tús Nua's Owner, Austin Hayes, began learning about growth habits of native trees and plants at a very young age. This ultimately led to a profession with maintenance spanning across the state of Oklahoma, and landscape installs being provided in Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma. While Evelyn will always be loved and missed more than words can describe; Her legacy will live on in each project we complete.

Austin Hayes
Owner / Chief Executive Officer
Starting as a family business in 2005, Austin and his team have had tremendous growth every year since. In 2013, Hayes Family Lawn Care became Tús Nua Lawn & Landscape, LLC. Through the years, Austin has been fortunate to surround the company and himself with outstanding coworkers that have an excellent knowledge of all landscape fields. Based in Oklahoma City, Austin oversees the executive team, special projects, and helps guide the growth of the company, staying true to the original values of professional service for a competitive price.
Kristin Hock
Director of Business Development
Kristin is the Director of Business Development at Tús Nua Lawn & Landscape, where she loves building relationships, creating new opportunities, and helping clients bring their properties to life. In her role, Kristin focuses on connecting with property owners and management teams, understanding their needs, and developing customized landscape solutions that create long-term value. She enjoys the process of turning a conversation into an opportunity and, ultimately, a lasting partnership.
Kristin believes great business development is about more than making a sale—it's about earning trust, being responsive, and showing clients that you genuinely care about their success. Her energetic, people-first approach is at the heart of everything she does.
Outside of work, Kristin is all about her kids, friends, and staying active. She loves working out, spending time with the people she loves, and making the most of life. Her energy, positivity, and love for people carry into both her personal life and the relationships she builds professionally.
Juan Hernandez
Fleet and Asset Management
Juan has been with Tús Nua since 2022, and has been an integral part to the success of each crew, ensuring that all workers are attentive to detail and completing all tasks on a daily basis. In addition to this, Juan directs the daily operations, tracking systems, and lifecycle maintenance of all Tús Nua physical assets, such as vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
In his free time he is a dedicated husband and father and somehow always manages to have time for deer season in the fall!
Lauren Esparza
Office Administration
Lauren handles all clerical work, accounts payable, and the overall flow of office and business administration. Pretty much without her, no Tús Nua gears turn! Lauren is a mom to one adorable little daughter and enjoys travel and living life to the fullest.
